Referrals
I am happy to accept referrals for all aspects of Periodontal care. Should you have any specific question prior to referring a patient, please do not hesitate to contact me via e-mail ian@purelyperio.co.uk.
I will always refer your patients back to you on completion of treatment. Often, for your convenience, I will arrange to see Periodontal patients annually to provide a comprehensive review including loss of attachment charts. This reduces the burden on your busy practice and allows for accurate data collection to monitor your patients Periodontal stability.
I am happy to provide treatment on a Total Case Referral basis or for a specific treatment. Please ensure it is clear when you refer a patient.
It is really helpful when you refer a periodontal patient if you can forward any radiographs you have of the case. This gives me important information regarding speed of progression of the disease that can affect treatment decisions.
